We are currently seeking a Full Time Assistant Director with Early Childhood experience. The ideal candidate will be a warm and nurturing individual who enjoys interacting and caring for children under 6 years of age in our Jewish program, has previous classroom experience, and can assist the ECC Director in the day-to-day operations of our early childhood center.

This position works for and in collaboration with the Early Childhood Director

· Inform Director of all parent concerns or issues
· Carrying out the responsibility of the program in the absence of the ECC Director
· Make suggestions for improvements and changes with the ECC Director
· Assist Director with supervising all programs in the curriculum
· Assist Director with staff evaluations, budget
· Assist Director with general errands as requested
· Administer medication and conduct health checks as needed

Staff
· Support and mentor all staff members
· Assist staff members with general questions and requests as needed
· Assist with supervising and scheduling staff
· Responsible for scheduling of staff year-round (school year, winter, spring, and summer camps)
· Responsible for scheduling monthly staff meetings
· Supervise drop off and pick up times each day
· Attends regular weekly staff meeting of the TKA Staff
· Communicates with Maintenance staff as needed

Front Desk Responsibilities
· Represent the school at the front desk answering phones and questions about the Early Childhood Center
· Represent the Temple at the front desk opening the gate and front door and answering phones and questions

Qualifications
· Bachelors Of Science in Ed required, Master's preferred
· Must have at least 10 years experience working with children
· Leadership experience
· Classroom experience is required
· Must be able to lift at least 30lbs

Pay is $45,000 - $50,000
